According to the Kazakhstan Automobile Union (QAO), 25,804 passenger cars and commercial vehicles were sold in Kazakhstan in November 2025, which is 22.7% more than in November last year. This figure became a record for monthly sales in the country’s official automotive retail market.
As a result of 11 months of 2025, Kazakhstani dealers sold 207,616 new vehicles, which is 15.6% higher than in the same period last year. Thus, 2025 became the most successful year in the history of the official automotive market of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
QAO President Anar Makasheva noted that more than 25,000 new vehicles were sold by official dealers in November, and that the new car market has already surpassed the results of the entire previous year based on the 11-month results. According to her, dealers together with partners are expanding the range of financial instruments and launching special offers and promotions. December traditionally remains one of the most favorable months for purchasing a vehicle.
Sales Leaders in November
In November, Chevrolet took first place among the best-selling brands with 7,777 vehicles sold (+76% compared to November last year).
Second place was taken by Hyundai (5,261 units; +37.9%).
Third place — Kia (1,990 units; +23.1%).
Fourth place — Jetour (1,326 units; +43.7%).
Fifth place — Toyota (1,252 units; +3.4%).
The top ten also included Chery (1,123 units; -25.9%), Haval (1,091 units; -24.9%), Changan (1,006 units; +4.1%), Geely (828 units; -15.3%) and Jac (597 units; -43.5%).
Most Popular Models in November
The model ranking was led by Chevrolet Cobalt (7,105 units).
It was followed by Hyundai Tucson (1,945 units) and Kia Sportage (1,320 units).
Fourth place was taken by Hyundai Mufasa (1,019 units).
The top ten also included Hyundai Elantra (907 units), Haval M6 (641 units), Hyundai Santa Fe (614 units), Chevrolet Onix (609 units), Changan CS55 Plus (498 units) and Hyundai Sonata (487 units).
Results of 11 Months of 2025
Based on the results of January–November 2025, Hyundai became the sales leader (45,220 units; +19.3%).
Second place — Chevrolet (33,486 units; +26.5%).
The top three is completed by Kia (21,481 units; +1.9%).
They are followed by Jetour (13,012 units; +55.6%), Chery (12,518 units; -7%), Haval (10,424 units; +7.8%), Changan (10,131 units; +31.6%), Toyota (10,075 units; +2.9%), Geely (9,020 units; +24.6%) and Jac (8,787 units; -13.4%).
