KIA will strengthen its position in Kazakhstan with a new distributor

Allur Motor Qazaqstan, a part of the Allur Group, has become the official distributor of the KIA brand in the Republic of Kazakhstan since January 2021. This decision was made to further strengthen and develop KIA's positions in the CIS, the press service of the Korean brand reports.

By mid-March 2021, it is planned to form a network of seven dealer centers located in the six largest cities of the country: Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Atyrau, Aktau, Kostanay and Shymkent. These dealerships will offer customers a full range of services related to the sale and maintenance of the brand's vehicles. The dealer network will further expand; by the end of 2021, it is planned to increase its size to 17 centers.

The assembly of KIA cars for the market of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be carried out in the city of Kostanay at the SaryarkaAvtoProm plant, which is also a part of the Allur Auto group of companies.

According to the KazAvtoProm Union of Automotive Industry Enterprises of Kazakhstan, by the end of 2020, 6004 KIA cars were sold in this republic, which is 60% more than a year ago. As a result, KIA ranked sixth in terms of sales among all car manufacturers in Kazakhstan, and the brand's market share was 6.7%. KIA's bestseller in the Kazakhstan market is the Rio model, which was chosen by 3495 buyers last year.

“The market of the CIS countries and Kazakhstan in particular has excellent potential and prospects for KIA sales growth. The experience of Allur Motor Qazaqstan, the presence of its own production facilities and a rapidly developing dealer network will make the KIA model line as accessible and convenient as possible for customers, ”said Jin Ha Kim, President of KIA Motors Russia & CIS.
