Kazakhstan prepares to resume flights with six countries

Since June 20, Kazakhstan plans to gradually resume air communication with other countries. The first destinations will be Turkey, China, South Korea, Thailand, Georgia and Japan, reported the Civil Aviation Committee.
“Starting June 20, 2020, international flights to Turkey, China, South Korea, Thailand, Georgia and Japan will be gradually resumed, in accordance with the decision of the Interdepartmental Commission on preventing the occurrence and spread of coronavirus infection in the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 11, 2020, as well as taking into account the recommendations of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the level of the epidemiological situation according to the World Health Organization (WHO) map,” — the report said.

There are no exact dates for each country, as well as information on whether it will be necessary to take tests for coronavirus for travel, whether there will be quarantine upon arrival. However, as previously reported, Turkey should be the first country.
