08.06.2020
The organizers of Automechanika Astana and Futuroad Expo Astana decided to postpone the dates to the beginning of autumn: the exhibitions will be held on September 3 – 5 at the IEC "EXPO", Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, in strict accordance with the sanitary and epidemiological rules. New dates were chosen on the recommendation of the global brand Automechanika.
Automechanika Astana 2020 will be one of the world’s first exhibitions of the Automechanika brand, which will take place after the removal of global pandemic restrictive measures, which will attract additional attention from industry professionals from not only Central Asia, but also countries where mass events could not take place.
The Republic of Kazakhstan is already on the next stage of canceling restrictions, i.e. shopping malls, restaurants, service centers and stations are working. Furthermore, the country has reopened the transport connection including the railway transportation and internal air flights. In addition, the next step according to the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development will be opening the air connections with China, South Korea and Azerbaijan. The second round of the air connections will include the following destinations: Germany, Turkey, UAE, Thailand and Czech Republic.
The additional time that appeared during the preparation of the exhibition in September will ensure the participation of companies that for various reasons could not be announced earlier, and will also allow expanding the business program. It is planned to organize seminars on automobile services and maintenance, as well as the Business Matching program, aimed at attracting exhibitors and visitors who are looking for opportunities for cooperation and investment.
Within the framework of Automechanika Astana 2020, a separate Motor Tuning Zone of exclusive cars will be organized. This year, the organizers will pay special attention to the direction of tuning and styling. Visitors will see samples of the Stance culture, Japanese modified cars according to the canons of JDM, restored retro cars, German classics and unique tuned models. At the end of the event, the best samples will be awarded based on the results of the popular vote.
