The construction of the Taldykorgan battery plant began in 1970, and in January 1975 the first 6ST -75EM battery was released. Within a short time, serial production of batteries in a wide range was launched. Taldykorgan Lead Battery Factory was one of the five manufacturers of batteries in the USSR.
The Kainar – AKB company is a domestic manufacturer of batteries, and is a member of the Register of Domestic producers of the Samruk – Kazyna Holding, and is also a member of the international Union of manufacturers of batteries Interbat. To date, Kainar – AKB LLP is an enterprise that stands firmly on its feet, has a developed economy and finished production of batteries. The latter means that all battery components are manufactured at the factory – from the casting of parts and components to the assembly of finished products. Thanks to this, we can minimize the cost of their production, which means that the prices at which we offer our goods are minimal. This is one of the many advantages that distinguish the plant's products when compared with similar products. In 2007-2008, the main production processes were modernized, complete replacement of communications and equipment in all workshops and sites was carried out.
The production of batteries is carried out on new equipment that meets all international standards, which has had a significant impact on product quality, increased production capacity, and reduced the cost of raw materials. Modern technologies are used, starting with the regeneration (the latest modern workshop for the disposal of expired lead-acid batteries using advanced European technology was built and put into operation) of battery scrap, its processing in electrothermal furnaces and deep purification of lead, followed by the production of low antimony, selenium, calcium alloys and eventually the release of new generation batteries.
The use of new technologies, high-quality materials and special additives for active masses allows the production of batteries that strictly meet the stringent requirements of the market, as well as guarantees excellent performance and allows you to increase the range of products. The work on improving competitiveness and increasing exports has become a continuous process for Kainar – AKB. All manufactured batteries undergo quality control in accordance with the Kazakh standard (ST – KZ) and the Russian standard (PCT), resulting in the production of products that meet the highest requirements and expectations of the consumer.
The main markets for the products of Kainar – AKB are the CIS countries and abroad: Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Belarus, China, the United Arab Emirates and Kazakhstan.
