New car sales in Kazakhstan increased by 42% in November

For eleven months Kazakhstanis purchased 82 683 new cars. The market in January-November 2020 grew by 24%. The best-selling vehicles in November are Hyundai and Chevrolet.
According to the Association of Kazakhstan AutoBusiness (AKAB), in November 2020, 8,186 passenger cars and light commercial vehicles were sold in Kazakhstan (+ 18.5% compared to November last year), as well as 1,034 units of trucks and buses (+56.7 %). At the end of eleven months of 2020, the market grew by 24% to 82,683 sold cars (66,729 units in January-November 2019). “The market is showing growth of over 24%. With a shortage of the most popular models, dealers try to contract consumers in order to keep prices and make the best offer for buyers. Ahead is the culmination of the New Year's race and two weeks of active sales, ”comments Anar MAKASHEVA, vice-president of AKAB.

Hyundai leads the ten best-selling passenger car brands in November. In particular, thanks to the launch of a new Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan plant in Almaty, dealers have sold 2,166 cars, a record this year (+ 30% compared to November last year). It took less than half a year for Chevrolet cars of the Kostanay SaryarkaAvtoProm to break into the top three sales leaders - 1,865 units. Lada with the result of 1,193 cars is on the third line (-18%). Toyota with 719 units sold. moved down to rank four in November (-43%). Kia cars in fifth place - 506 units. (+ 1%). Volkswagen is on the sixth line of the best-selling cars in Kazakhstan (297 units; + 313%). The seventh position belongs to JAC - 296 units. (+ 107%). hevrolet Nexia became the leader in the model standings - 1,004 sedans sold in November, Hyundai Accent is in second place (982 units), the third is closed by Chevrolet Cobalt (619 units). Lada Granta is in fourth place (606 units). Hyundai Tucson is in fifth place (524 units). Hyundai Creta ranks sixth (369 units). Further on the list: Kia Rio (333 units), Toyota Camry (312 units), Lada 4x4 (296 units) and Volkswagen Polo - 252 cars.
