Messe Frankfurt delegation visited Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan at the invitation of Business Media Central Asia (BMCA)

As part of a business visit to Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries, the delegation of Messe Frankfurt Group (Germany), headed by Managing Director Asia, Stephan Buurma met with the management of the national company «QazExpoCongress». «QazExpoCongress" company manages the largest international exhibition center in Kazakhstan - EXPO.

At the meeting, there were discussed the prospects of cooperation and the possibility of opening a representative office of Messe Frankfurt in Kazakhstan. Allen Chaizhunussov, Chairman of the Board of JSC «NC «QazExpoCongress», emphasized the importance of the business center EXPO and its contribution to the development of economic, educational and cultural sphere of the country. He also noted that joint projects and experience of Messe Frankfurt could give a new impetus to the organization of large-scale international exhibitions.

Further, as part of the visit to Uzbekistan, the delegation, including Senior Vice President of Messe Frankfurt Group Stephan Kurzawski, Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt Group for Asia Stephan Buurma, as well as BMCA Board Member Eugen Alles and CEO of BMCA Anuar Malik, participated as honorary guests in the opening of a new exhibition center in Tashkent - Central Asian Expo.

During the event, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Business Media Central Asia and CAEx (Central Asia Expo) with support of Messe Frankfurt. According to Anuar Malik, the CEO of BMCA, the signed document is the first but important step for the company to enter a new market represented by Messe Frankfurt.
